Professional knowledge demonstrates an instructor’s ability to relay information and subject-matter to his/her students as effectively as possible. The objective is to show the students the purpose behind the lesson. Teachers can effectively translate knowledge into student learning in various ways, however three of the core calibers consist of the following: knowledge of the curriculum, knowledge of the audience (or students in this case), and knowledge of standard expectations.
